Meet Vanessa M. Cameron, DO, FACOG

Vanessa M. Cameron, D.O., FACOG, of Teverbaugh Croland & Mueller Ob/Gyn & Associates, S.C., in Peoria Illinois, is from Elmhurst Illinois. She received a B.A. in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. After completing medical school at the Midwestern University-Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM), she completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Dr. Cameron is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) International Society for the study of Vulvovaginal Diseases and the Peoria Medical Society and the Illinois State Medical Society.  Dr. Cameron is on staff at OSF St. Francis Hospital, Unity Point Methodist Medical Center, Unity Point Proctor Hospital, Center for Health Ambulatory Surgery Center, and the Peoria Day Surgery Center.

Dr. Cameron is active in resident education and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. She has a special interest in minimally invasive robotic surgical techniques and is a certified single site and conventional robotic surgeon.

She lives in Metamora with her husband and children. She enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with her family.
