Megan E. Nestrud, WHNP, received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA in May 2000. She then graduated with a Masters of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago specializing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in May 2006. Megan was a staff nurse at OSF on the Labor and Delivery Unit for 5 years where she was a member of the Maternal Fetal Transport OB Flight team.
Megan was certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation in July 2006.
Megan lives in Morton with her husband Jason and 3 children Ellie, Max and Sophie.
Diane Dunniway, DNP, APN, WHNP-BC, FCP is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and is credentialed through the National Certification Corporation (NCC). She also recently completed the Doctor of Nursing Practice through UIC. During her residency, she focused on menopausal issues as well as fertility care. Diane approaches each woman as a unique individual and loves to talk to you as if you were one of her own family. She will help you make sense of the current controversies and research in hormone therapy, including the benefits of bio-identical hormones. Diane is a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) member and certified NAMS practitioner.

Kayla Simons, FNP, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Illinois State University in 2010. She started working at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal, IL while completing her master’s degree. She completed her Master of Science degree at ISU, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Kayla began working at OSF Medical Group of Ottawa as a nurse practitioner in Internal Medicine. She continued with OSF for a little over 3 years before transitioning to our office. She gained experience in primary care including treating acute illnesses, preventative medicine, and chronic disease management such as diabetes.
Kayla is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing. She lives in Ottawa with her husband Jared and son Zeke.
